ABOUT THE
ARTIST

Jade Dominguez is a passionate and versatile artist known for their unique approach to blending various mediums in their work. With a deep love for exploring different techniques, Jade’s artistic journey has led them to experiment with a wide range of materials, constantly evolving their style. Through their art, they aim to express emotions, capture moments, and connect with others on a personal level. Jade believes that art is a reflection of the human experience and seeks to inspire and engage viewers by pushing boundaries and embracing new creative possibilities.

ART STYLE &
INSPIRATION

Specializing in abstract art, Jade primarily works with acrylic and mixed media, creating both black-and-white minimalist pieces and vibrant, colorful compositions. Their creative process is deeply driven by emotion rather than references, allowing each painting to unfold organically. Colors are carefully blended and layered until the envisioned image emerges. Interestingly, stress often fuels their artistic expression, leading to unique and deeply personal works. A series titled "Love" was born from this emotional release, capturing raw feelings through spontaneous brushstrokes. Rather than dwelling on stress, the artist channels it into their art, transforming challenges into creative energy and meaningful compositions.

ART TO
SOCIETY

Art plays a vital role in society, as it reflects and symbolizes the community while telling unique and meaningful stories. According to Jade, each piece carries its own significance, offering inspiration and adding color to life. He recalls an instance during his solo exhibit at SM Telabastagan, where a student from Holy Angel University found hope and light in one of his abstract paintings, despite feeling sad. This moment reinforced his belief that artists have the power to uplift others, especially collectors, by inspiring them and bringing joy through their creations.

"Just keep creating until you find your own style—the one that truly feels like yours. Criticism is inevitable, but if you believe in your work, others will too. There will always be people who appreciate and value what you create, so never stop."
