ABOUT THE
ARTIST

PJ David is a self-taught artist from the Philippines who discovered her passion for painting at the start of the pandemic in 2020. Previously working at a casino, she turned to art during the isolation of the pandemic, finding joy and a renewed sense of purpose through creativity.

ART STYLE &
INSPIRATION

Her art is rooted in Expressionism, blending abstraction with mixed-media techniques, including acrylic, oil painting, and pointillism. She uses bold colors, textures, and dynamic forms to evoke emotion and energy. Despite being self-taught, her art has quickly gained recognition for its expressive power and emotional depth, resonating deeply with viewers.

ART TO
SOCIETY

It helps, especially in this generation, where many people have an artistic side but don’t express it. When they see art, they can be influenced and inspired to create. Art has the power to inspire the new generation to paint and bring out their creativity.

"My art conveys a timeless message, urging viewers to reconnect with their inner child—an often forgotten part of themselves in the busyness of adulthood. Through vivid imagery, it encourages us to nurture our innocence and curiosity, find magic in life's small moments, and dream without limits. The piece balances wisdom with playfulness, reminding us that our inner child is not just a memory, but a source of light, hope, and an essential part of who we are."
